One of the pivotal shifts in the industry that the GIMAs are acknowledging is the transformation of creators into recognised brands. To honour these innovators, the 2023 award ceremony proudly presented the 'Content Creator of the Year' award which will return in 2024. This acknowledges the outstanding contributions of creators who have transcended their roles and become influential brands in their own right.

As part of our commitment to staying ahead of industry trends, the 2024 GIMAs are introducing three new categories to reflect where the industry is now, but also where it’s heading:

'Best Micro-Influencer Campaign' - Recognising the increased power and impact of micro-influencers in the digital landscape.
'Best Use of UGC' - Celebrating campaigns that harness the impressive and innovative potential of user-generated content.
'Talent Agency of the Year' - Acknowledging the pivotal role played by talent agencies in shaping the influencer marketing landscape.

The awards ceremony is set to return to the prestigious five-star Super Boutique Londoner Hotel on 18th July 2024, serving as a fitting backdrop to honour the latest advancements in influencer marketing. This luxury venue will host a gathering of industry leaders, celebrating the remarkable achievements of trailblazing campaigns, fearless creators, and successful influencer marketing strategies.

These awards are open to agencies, brands/retailers, vendors, platforms, creators, and technology partners. What sets the GIMAs apart is the requirement for entrants to showcase their campaigns, teams, or partnerships through an ‘Entry Creative’, whether that is a video or an image. This creative aspect adds a unique dimension to the submission process, allowing participants to highlight their creativity and innovation.

The GIMAs have become an indispensable event for those at the forefront of the influencer marketing and creator economy industry.
